This is a compilation of testimonies about my walk with God. My stories demonstrate practical applications of God’s word in the 21st century. These are personal testimonies of my victories and defeats and some things in-between, the blessings that followed when I was obedient and consequences I suffered when I was not. Many people including Christians avoid sharing the TRUTH of their personal testimonies; some feel compelled to embellish because of how they want to be perceived. When the truth of an experience is shared, there is also some trepidation, but perfect love casts out all fear. Shared experiences are powerful and they can help others avoid similar pitfalls. Telling the absolute truth is exposing and scary, but necessary. The Bible is one story after another about instructions and examples of victories and defeats. The Bible speaks about falling downs, getting ups, and miracles. Bible stories are very relative to our lives today, but because of when they were written some find them hard to relate to. My stories are similar to the stories in the Bible. The only relevant difference is my experiences were lived and penned in the 21st Century; therefore, I am subject to potential criticism. These stories are about the Bible’s instructions, real life examples, awesome victories, embarrassing defeats, some falling downs, some acting ups, some getting up and some very awesome miracles. And like the Bible, they are all about the truth. So, I caution you not to be offended or surprised by the truth of Jesus & Me. |
